KINGS CANYON/SEQUOIA NPs
After departing our Lodge at Yosemite, we made our way to the Kings Canyon/Sequoia Big Stump Entrance. We were all impressed by the huge trees that towered everywhere. We stopped at the General Grant’s Grove to enjoy the trail. Our lodging for the night was at the Wuksachi Lodge, beautifully nestled in and amongst the tall trees. Our coolest weather was here. The morning of day 6 took us to the Giant Forest Museum where the trees were bigger than ever. We all were thankful for a wonderful night at the Hilton in Bakersfield before our long ride home. We all came away with many photos and great memories of the parks.
