GENERAL INFORMATION
Photography West Camera Club was chartered by the Recreation Centers of Sun City West in 1980. It is dedicated to advancing the arts and techniques of photography and videography as a means of personal expression through a balance of well-equipped facilities and a variety of activities designed to meet membership needs by providing:
- Top quality Photo, Video and Digital Imaging Studios
for the beginning and advanced worker alike
- Instructional Programs and Workshops
to enhance members' photographic and technical knowledge,
as well as providing training in the use of equipment
- Membership Programs, Travelogs, Photo and Video Essays,
and Digital, Print, and Slide Competitions, etc.
- Travel/Photo Ops to allow members to visit and photograph points
of interest in Arizona and other locations
- Social Activities so that members can become better acquainted
- Participation in other photographic associations
such as Arizona Camera Club Council (ACCC) and
Photographic Society of America (PSA)

ROUTINE SCHEDULED MEETINGS
Digital, Slide, and Video Photography - Meets at 10am every Friday in the Stardust Theater at the Kuentz Recreation Center. Meetings last about one hour.
Print Competition - Meets in the card room at Beardsley Recreation Center twice a year at 10am on dates to be announced.
Board Meetings - 9:30am on the second Tuesday of the month in the Photo Lab. These meetings are open to the membership.
