Photography West
Our three-day adventure started Wednesday, December 30, which was our travel day to California.  The day ended with rain but we were all optimistic that our next two important days would be in sunshine - and they were!   We were up bright and early to tour the float barns where the floats are assembled and decorated.  So many people put their hearts and souls and many hours into the floats.  We left the float barns and headed out to the Huntington Library.  The grounds were amazing and the artwork in the buildings priceless.  After a sumptuous dinner in our hotel, we celebrated New Year’s Eve on east coast time, champagne and all.  Sunshine, blue skies, and mild temperatures were the order of the day for the 121st Rose Parade.  The parade was all we had hoped for, and more!  Please enjoy a selection of photos from these events taken by 32 club members and friends.
