Girlfriends Getaway to Las Vegas

Twenty-seven of us enjoyed a Girlfriends Getaway to Las Vegas -- this was our 2nd Annual girls only event (oh yes, we are planning a 3rd!). We stopped at Mr. Dz for lunch. After settling in to the Palace Station, we hopped back on board and headed to Fremont Street for the famous light show and interesting street people. Day 2 started with a stop at the new bridge at Hoover Dam. Then some of us went to the Outlet Mall and some just did our own thing. That evening, some of us went to a show -- Donny & Marie, Phantom of the Opera, or Terry Fator; others toodled around town to see the sights and the lights. Day 3, we were dropped at the Bellagio, which is a treat in itself. Some of us took the tram to Arias in the new City Center and from there to the newly opened Cosmopolitan Resort. We were delighted to be given a tour of the casino and hotel. From there, it was off to Ethel M’s Chocolate Factory - yummy! Then it was lunch at Panera Bread. Lots of snoozing the rest of the way home. A fun trip, for sure.
