Twenty-four of us enjoyed an action-packed three days in and around the San Diego Area.  Our first stop on Day 1 was at the Cabrillo National Monument on Point Loma.  After taking lots of photos there, we went to Coronado Island to walk around the Hotel Del Coronado and get our ocean fix.  We were delighted with our accommodations at the Embassy Suites Hotel -- so close to everything.  Day 2 was a mixed bag of potential events from which we could pick and choose.  Some took a harbor cruise, some went to the San Diego Zoo, and the rest enjoyed free time at Balboa Park.  Some folks even got to visit with friends and family.  Day 3 started with a tour and time on our own at the Mission Basilica San Diego de Acala.  From there, we headed to Old Town to enjoy the sites before heading on home.  Our weather was perfect all three days.  We even celebrated our newly engaged couple, Dick and Pat.
